According to a company release, the new hair-loss treatment was developed by the pharmaceutical company that is owned by Pristiq, Inc.
Pristiq is the current brand name for the brand-name Propecia, which is also sold under the brand name Proscar.
Pristiq will continue to manufacture the drugs in a separate dosage form, which has been introduced for the treatment of hair loss in men over the age of 18.
